Finally made it to an AI filmmaking session—missed the earlier ones, but this one fit the schedule. Grateful to learn and enjoy the storytelling process. (Personal reflection, not tied to my work.)

Using tools like Martini with models like Seedance and Kling, three things stood out:
1. Ecosystem over single tool: There’s a whole layer of people building interfaces, workflows, and asset systems so you can focus on story instead of assembling and figuring out the stack.
2. Realism vs “fingerprints”: We grappled with how “real” on-screen characters feel when they’re not people with physical fingerprints—more like composites of patterns and prompts. It is still a probabilistic generation based on text and pixels.
3. Tokens as a creative constraint: Generations take time and cost olives (tokens). That impatience made SOPs and clear workflows matter: craft is partly about not burning tokens unnecessarily.
Huge thanks to Varick Lim, Martini, the SG Collective, Sharon, Antoine, and all my fellow classmates Puviin Varman
Personal experiment; views are my own. Martini enabled this film to be created in half a day. Excited to see if I can try to make agents to continue like how Neuroflix does :)
Growth is a mutual process.
Like clay in the hands of a potter, we are shaped through pressure, patience, and intention. But meaningful growth does not happen through force alone. It happens through conversation — between the one guiding and the one becoming. Parents and leaders do not just shape people. They stay attentive to how children and people are responding as they grow. And of course more importantly, our own inner voice.
